WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?


Psychological therapy as practiced by psychotherapists, counsellors and counselling psychologists seeks to relieve psychological and emotional symptoms through understanding, awareness and action.


Our symptoms can be seen as expression of some kind of systemic problem – in fact they are the key to unveiling a more effective way of living – one that produces fruit and not symptoms – a well-functioning system.


Whatever the problem – depression, relationship or sexual difficulties, anxieties, addictions, eating disorders, low self-esteem, stress related problems – it will be symptomatic of a malfunctioning system that can be transformed into an opportunity for personal growth with psychological therapy.
